What is a portfolio-ready artist biography?
An artist biography is not a CV and not a statement — it’s a short narrative that explains who you are, where you come from and how your practice has developed.
For a PDF portfolio, a biography is usually:
- Written in the third person
- Kept reasonably short (150–250 words)
- Focused on context, not on explaining each artwork
Where does the biography go in your PDF?
