Send a focused PDF portfolio and CV that selection committees can read quickly.
For artists, not designers
MyArtPDF is a upcoming local-first tool to help you build a professional portfolio, CV, biography and artist statement in a clean, institution-friendly PDF – without design software or subscriptions.
If you’ve ever tried to build an artist portfolio PDF for a residency, gallery or school, you probably recognise this:
MyArtPDF is being built from the perspective of an artist, with one goal: make it as simple as possible to create a serious, gallery-ready PDF.
The core experience stays simple: one studio, one portfolio, everything you need for a professional PDF in one place.
.myartpdf file for later use.Everything runs locally in your browser or desktop app. No cloud uploads, no account creation.
MyArtPDF is being designed for artists who need serious, readable PDFs that follow institutional expectations – without becoming graphic designers in the process.
Send a focused PDF portfolio and CV that selection committees can read quickly.
Share a clean PDF that presents your work and metadata clearly and professionally.
Apply with a consistent portfolio that matches what admissions teams expect.
I never enjoyed building my own PDF portfolios. I got lost in Canva, I broke layouts in InDesign, and I spent hours tweaking documents when I just wanted to send my work.
I wanted a tool that kept everything in one place – CV, biography, statement, images – and produced a clean, professional PDF without me needing to think about typography or layout details.
MyArtPDF started as a tool for my own practice. The more I worked on it, the more it felt wrong to keep it private. We already pay for studios, materials and submission fees. Creating a basic, serious portfolio PDF shouldn’t be another barrier.
The goal of MyArtPDF is simple: every artist should be able to create a gallery-ready PDF portfolio, CV, biography and statement for free, without friction.
Not yet. The tool is currently being developed and tested. This page is live early so that artists and institutions can discover the project – and so search engines can begin indexing it.
Yes. The core experience – one full portfolio with CV, biography, statement and up to 15 artworks – is planned to stay free so that any artist can create a gallery-ready PDF without cost.
No. MyArtPDF is designed as a local-first tool. Your data lives in your browser or
desktop app. You can export everything as a .myartpdf file if you want
to keep an archive.
Probably. The idea is to add optional features later (like multiple portfolios, deeper versioning or additional export options) while keeping the core portfolio builder free.
